I had the pleasure of filming Kelsey + Steve’s picturesque wedding, hosted at Zingerman's Cornman Farms, near Ann Arbor, Michigan. The ceremony and reception were reflective of Kelsey + Steve’s love for the outdoors, nature, and their community of loved ones, and the day was meticulously carried out by Ana at Twofoot Creative. Their laid back attitude created a comfortable and love-filled feeling covering their entire day. All the special moments and unique details, as well as the gorgeous setting at Zingerman's Cornman Farms, made my cinematography work a pure pleasure and it was so fun shooting alongside The Billings Photography!
Kelsey had her makeup done and got dressed surrounded by her mom, grandma, sisters, and a bunch of cute nieces, starring as the flower girls. A small cluster of her wedding flowers were tucked up into her soft updo. The wedding party was set and Kelsey + Steve did their first look in front of the crisp white farmhouse, framed by three white hydrangeas, and also in front of a classic white farm fence and corn field. Steve’s face, upon seeing Kelsey in her soft and sparkly dress, expressed his deep admiration for her.
Tall leafy trees provided shade and beauty to the ceremony, set up on the front lawn of the pristine farmhouse. A large arch, made from bended and woven sticks and finished with green leaves, was flanked on each side by lush natural floral arrangements. Sara at Parsonage Flowers nailed Kelsey + Steve’s natural, but romantic, style. The ceremony was deeply meaningful and Kelsey’s father officiated.

After the ceremony, but before the reception, guests were treated to a cocktail hour on the Cornman Farm grounds. Kids were running and exploring, corn hole was set up and guests could catch up under the twinkle-lit trellis. But the highlight of the meet-and-greet was definitely the baby goats; they were cuddled and kissed and loved by everyone.

I got to film in the empty reception tent before the guests were ushered in for dinner. Nature was brought inside and transformed the center poles into green trees. Dinner was scrumptious, catered by Forte Belanger, and the thoughtful toasts added to the romantic and heart-felt mood. To finish the night, dancing and music was held in the wood-paneled barn. Kelsey + Steve were sent on their way at the end of their happy day with sparklers and well wishes. What a day! A huge congrats to Kelsey + Steve.
